Citgo Sign Catches Fire
Like the Boston Red Sox, the Citgo sign that looms over Fenway Park sputtered and burned.

During an off-day in the 2008 American League Championship Series, the Citgo sign, which is atop a building near Fenway Park, caught fire. Flames from the 60 x 60-ft. sign on Beacon St. were quickly extinguished. Damage was estimated at $5,000. MacDonald retires after more than 30 years with the company.

JLG Industries Inc. (McConnellsburg, PA), an Oshkosh Corp. company, announced the retirement of Wayne MacDonald, senior vice president of engineering, after more than 30 years with the company.
