Citgo Sign Catches Fire
Like the Boston Red Sox, the Citgo sign that looms over Fenway Park sputtered and burned.

During an off-day in the 2008 American League Championship Series, the Citgo sign, which is atop a building near Fenway Park, caught fire. Flames from the 60 x 60-ft. sign on Beacon St. were quickly extinguished. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
