Marktech Optoelectronics (Latham, NY) is announcing the availability of Toshiba’s new TLxK series red and amber LEDs, to its line of high- performance LEDs. Suitable for traffic-management systems, traffic signals, pedestrian signals, variable-message signs, indoor message signs and outdoor-advertising applications, the InGaAlP-based line boasts luminous intensities of up to 2,900 mcd (red) and 23,000 mcd (amber). The LEDs are available in a 5mm round package with viewing angles of 23º and 30º.
