EFI™ (Foster City, CA) is introducing its SmartSign Analytics (SSA) report system that enables retail specialists to measure the effectiveness of their signage by automatically detecting an ad viewer’s age, gender and time spent viewing the image. EFI says the system doesn’t record video or personal information, but captures and analyzes data to determine ad performance at set locations. EFI also says SSA helps assess advertising sites’ effectiveness, and retailers can tailor applications to gather specific demographic information.
